Two and Seven

She's been two for two months

but I've just now gotten around

to dressing her in her picture outfit

 for a quickie photo shoot

as we headed out the door

to another birthday celebration

for this girl

who's now seven.

People have been telling me and I believe them.

My hands are so full.

They grow up so fast.
